Activities
Of Course there are many activities in Annaberg and the surrounding area but here is a selection:
Skiing/Snowboarding
140 Kilometres of spectacular scenery. It is a perfect place for the beginner and intermediate skier. There are also good runs for the advanced skier. Annaberg and the Dachstein West region has some of the best up to date chair lifts and cable cars. A lot of money has been invested into the region along with the latest in snow cannon technology for guaranteed snow.
Cross Country Skiing
The region offers a vast range of cross country ski routes. All offer wonderful views.
Hiking/Walking
There are too many walking routes to mention but there are many right from our doorstep in Annaberg. It is difficult to put in words how wonderful the scenery really is but we can guarantee that nobody will be disappointed.
Mountain Biking
Again there are many mountain biking routes in amazing scenery. It doesn't get any better!
Kayaking & Canoeing
Wildwater Kayaking and canoeing in the Alps is a wonderful experience. The Lammer is the main river of the Lammertal and runs through Annaberg.
Rafting
Why not take up wildwater rafting through narrow gorges of the Lammertal! The views are spectacular.
Canyoning
The Lammertal offers gorges, vertical rock walls, and waterfalls for the outdoor specialist.
Hydrospeed
You lie on your stomach while hunting for the perfect line through the thunderous river rapids.
Paragliding
Floating amongst the mountain peaks is the best way to enjoy a sense of freedom before landing in one of the surrounding meadows. A truly exhilarating experience.
Hot Air Ballooning
If you prefer a more secure feeling while flying high above and between the mountains then surely has to be the perfect ride.
