Apartment Annaberg
We are an English family and have been non UK resident since 1998.
Even though the TV is plagued by programmes of Brits moving abroad for a better life nowadays, we were a little ahead of our time. We finally settled in Annaberg in 2002.
The Austrian Alps provide what is regarded as the cleanest air in Europe, and the water is filtered from the mountains so you practically have mineral water from the tap.
We are both professionals. I have various consulting roles and my wife is a qualified nurse. We have two children, one boy and a girl who are both fluent in English and German, and both attend local schools.
We know the area very well since we take every chance to visit a local site of interest and are able to make recommendations as well as provide reviews on local restaurants. Of which some are very cheap but the food and company excellent!
